Eleme Council Boss Cautions Traders, Buyers To Comply With  COVID-19 Guidelines

Following the opening of markets across the state, the Executive Chairman of Eleme local government area, Hon. (Barr.) Philip Okparaji has warned traders, buyers and members of the market management committee not to loose guard but ensure full compliance of all laid down COVID-19 guidelines.

The Eleme Council Boss who gave the warning when he inspected the reopening of the Nchia Echieta market stated that the government will always and closely observe activities in the market to ensure people remain safe from the dreaded virus.

Handing over 1000 nosemasks to the Market Management Committee for distribution, he added that hand wash buckets will be stationed at entry, exit and other strategic positions in the market.

Urging traders to ensure their environment is sanitized, Barr. Okparaji charged the Market Management Committee to ensure markets are clean and the total compliance to all COVID-19 protocols are maintained or risk being relieved of their duties.

Prayers were made by Clergy and traders at the market.
