The choice of Michael John Williams has been hailed as a welcome development by one of the contenders of the chairmanship position during the Peoples Democratic Party primaries of Degema Local Government Area.
Hon. Dennis Fayeofori, the leader of the Degema legislative Assembly, while speaking with newsmen at the auspicious occasion of the official PDP campaign flag-off ceremony said as a loyal member of the Party, he is in tandem with the choice of the party, as he pledged his commitment to work and ensure that PDP wins at the polls.
According to him, the greater force is the force of a United people, speaking with one voice speaking PDP is not a party of cynics rather they have come to for the common good of the ordinary people.
As a grassroot mobilizer, Hon. Fayeofori maintained that he will ensure to intensify mobilization efforts that the various wards of Degema Local government area
Hon. Fayeofori noted with conviction that the cheerful disposition of Mr. Williams would definitely bring a new Dawn to the growth and development, which he says will make the local government area get back to its lost glory.
He also used the medium to thank Governor Nyesom Wike for given Rivers people a truly visionary progressive leadership style that has brought peace to the people of Degema in particular.
He maintained that there was need for all in the party to foster unity for the success of the party.
