Bro Felix Obuah, immediate past chairman, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State chapter is saddened by the painful news of Bonny-Bille Jetty fire incident which occurred in the early hours of Monday, April 11, 2022.
Obuah in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Jerry Needam regrets the death of those who lost their lives in the inferno and the untold hardship inflicted on those who sustained injuries and the families of the deceased victims.
More painful, Bro Obuah noted, is that the incident occurred when the current economic bites occasioned by bad APC-led federal government are very sever on the entire population who are already overwhelmed trying to cope.
He sent his deepest condolences to the victims and their families and prayed for God’s providence to all the affected families and for quick recovery from the wounds and the psychological and economic damages to those injured.
