The immediate past senator that represented Rivers South-East Senatorial District in the Senate, Magnus Abe can now contest next year’s governorship election in Rivers State, National Network can authoritatively report.
Very reliable source revealed to National Network that Senator Abe has been formally obliged the opportunity to contest the governorship election on the platform of one of the prominent political parties in the state name withheld.
Having officially accepted to contest the election may have ended months of speculations about the Senator’s governorship bid which has been a matter of conjectures.
Senator Abe still remains the staunch supporter and arrowhead of the election campaign of Sen. Ahmed Bola Tinubu, the APC presidential candidate in Rivers State.
