Pomp As Alert Media And Communications Company Opens In PH
The media and communications industry in Rivers State received a boost on Thursday, with the official opening of Alert Media and Communications Limited in Port Harcourt, the State capital.
In the well-attended ceremony that was largely graced by the business community within and outside Port Harcourt, the event also enjoyed the presence of the Executive Chairman of Ahoada West Local Government Area, Hon. (Evang.) Hope O. Ikiriko who performed the unveiling.
Hon. (Evang.) Ikiriko while speaking congratulated the CEO of the company, Mr. Madu Dab Madueke on the project, saying it had come at a better time and would positively impact the industrial growth of the state.
The Council Chairman urged Mr. Madueke and his team to put in their best to realize the set objective of the company.
Speaking on behalf of the Board, Management and staff of Alert Media and Communications Ltd, Mr. Madueke expressed appreciation to Hon. Ikiriko in what he called his heart felt blessings, encouragement and inspirations towards the organization.
He said the company, located at 24, Ikwerre Road by Education Bus Stop, in Mile 1 Diobu, Port Harcourt, was strategically situated as the area is renowned for its commercial viability.
Reeling out a brief profile of the outfit, Mr. Madueke disclosed that the company is a privately-owned information and communication technology outfit, and specialized in Media, Publishing, Printing, Broadcasting, Data Management, Advertising, Cinematography and Training.
“As a group, we did this following the strict quality work standards, being willing to work closely and cooperatively to fill in any gaps that arose, taking the initiative to go back over some aspect of the work that occasionally required double-checking.
“I want you to know they are delighted with the accuracy we achieved.
Without your shared pride and accountability, we simply could not have been so satisfactorily, so triumphantly and this successful.
“As is true with any project encompassing so many different aspects, there would be some ups and downs that is to be expected, but when everyone pulled together and work as a team, our goals will certainly be attained.
We know how much time and energy this assignment demanded, and I deeply appreciate all efforts, both individually, and collectively. I also appreciate those who kept faith with us in prayers”, he said.
The CEO used the occasion to commend all the clients, and acknowledged the result of satisfying customers’ needs.
