NURTW Chairman Eulogizes Gov Wike

As Rivers State Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike celebrates his 52nd birthday, the Chairman, National Union Road Transport Workers (NURTW) Tricycle Section, Rivers State Chapter, Chief Benjamin Ibigwe has doffed his cap for the governor, describing him as a young man that God imbued with wisdom and leadership qualities.

Chief Ibigwe who made the commendation in a chat with National Network in Port Harcourt ,said at 52 Governor Wike has displayed great leadership skills in his handling of Rivers State affairs, stressing that the Rivers Chief Executive Officer has managed the resources of the State prudently for the benefit of the people.

“Governor Wike is a young man who has made the youth of Nigeria proud with his wonderful performance in office and as a youth myself, I am proud of him”, he told National Network.

He stressed that the governor’s performance had proved to the world that Nigerian youths are capable of doing wonders for the country if given the opportunity.

The NURTW Chairman, Tricycle Section who is the Enyi Oha I of Oroigwe said in climes where performance is the yardstick for appointing/electing leaders, Governor Wike would be brought back effortlessly to continue his good work, but warned that it would be disastrous to rig the 2019 election to deprive him of what he said truly belongs to him.

Chief Ibigwe called for support for the Governor and expressed confidence that he would be re-elected in 2019 as governor of Rivers State.

He used the medium to appeal to the governor to provide tricycles (keke) as a kind of empowerment to numerous jobless Rivers youths, stressing that when youths were engaged in productive ventures, they would not have time to engage in crime.
