Entrenching Good Governance Begins With PVC

Former Commissioner in the Rivers State Civil Service Commission, Mrs. Sotonye Toby Fulton has urged Opobans yet to collect their Permanent Voters Card (PVC) to do so as entrenching good governance begins with the PVC.

Speaking at the GDI PVC collection sensitization rally at Opobo on Saturday, the former Commissioner stated that having concluded the first assignment of successful PVC registration, the actual collection becomes more imperative as it is the power, right and voice of the electorate.

She also added that it was because they processed their PVC and used it to elect Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike that the Opobo/Nkoro axis of the Unity road was constructed by the governor.

Fulton urged everyone to remain ‘Simplified’ to sustain development in the area.
