Nigeria Will Rejoice Very Soon, Says  Kattey

The General Overseer Commonwealth Covenant Church International Archbishop Moses Kattey has predicted that before the end of this year 2019 Nigerians would be blessed beyond expectation despite the hash economic realities facing the country.

He stated this during the 10th synod of the Commonwealth Covenant International Church in Eleme Local Government Area, Katty said no Nigerians should cry again for the time has come for God to embarrassed all his people with abundant blessings Archbishop  Katty who delivered his sermon from the book of Number chapter 20 v 8 during the service said the people of Israel travelled from Egypt to Israel for 35years and when they were tired and thirsty God ordered them through Moses to speak to the rock so as to have water to drink. He noted that also Moses spoke and water gush out of the rock and the people drank and were certified so as the children of God on earth today will receive divine water from the Lord in all they lay their hands to do.

He stated that God would not forsake all those who put their trust in him by surrendering their lives wholly unto him, despite the challenges of life, kattey however used the opportunity to thank all that took part in the three days programme. Praying for the continuous blessing of God in their lives.

While expressing joy for the successful hosting of this year synod he maintained that the synod has ended on a good note adding that as the highest decision making body of the church, it was also used in the electing of new executive members that will pilot the affairs of the church for the next 5 years.

Although he regretted that several political leaders in the state invited did not turn up including the Rivers State Governor, Chief Nyesom Wike, he said their absence did not take the shine out of the programme as the Governor of Abia State travelled all the way from Umuahia to take part in the service.

The man of God who revealed that the church will soon kickstart the ground breaking of its university on a 60 plot of land that was donated to them by Chief Apoloscho he expressed optimism that the university as a secular university would help to boost education not only in the state but in the country at large.     

The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Ikpeazu and Chief Apoloschu read the first and second lesson. The occasion was attended by captain of industries, traditional rulers, politicians, religious leader, journalist among others.
