Families, Friends Relive Late Sir Apollo’s Demise

Friends and relations of Sir MacDonald Belief Apollo who died on October 14, 2018 at the age of 53 have reaffirmed that though over three hundred and sixty days have gone by since the unfortunate motor accident that took his life, his memory still lingers in their hearts.

At a family memorial marking the one year anniversary of Sir Apollo’s death last Monday, family members and friends held a solemn prayer where they prayed for the repose of the soul amid cries and wailings.

In an elegy read by the first son of the deceased, Donald Belief MacDonald, his irreplaceable void left by the death threw up lots of emotions.

“You still remain in our heart daddy.  A light from our household is gone; a voice we loved is stilled; a place is vacant in our home; some may think you are forgotten, though on earth you are no more; but in memory, you are with us as you always were before”, MacDonald reeled out amid uncontrollable tears.

After a session of tributary when most in the gathering took turns to reel out the immutable legacies of the late Apollos, the first son of the deceased capped his elegy with the following words:

“Daddy, it is exactly one year you left us to be with the Lord, your Maker.  Yes! The song has ended but the melody lingers on.  Rest well, dad.  You live forever in us”.
