Nemieboka Reels Out Achievements Amid Rousing Reception For Pastor Ibiyeomie

The Executive Chairman of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area, Hon (Barr) Vincent Nemieboka has reeled out some projects executed by his administration within the time frame of assuming office as the Council boss.

Nemieboka who made this known on Wednesday, while receiving the Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries Worldwide, Pastor David Ibiyeomie in Ogu Town, headquarters of the Council, to mark this year’s Bolo Community Annual Prayer Summit LGA.

Describing the globally acclaimed pastor as a worthy son and foremost ambassador of the LGA, Hon. Nemieboka who was accompanied by his wife, Mrs. Boma Nemieboka and others, thanked the renowned televangelist for making out time to attend the event despite his busy schedules.

Hon. (Barr) Nemieboka said he had made it a priority at the beginning of every year to ensure that every community in Ogu/Bolo LGA organizes a successful prayer program to begin the year, and thanked he pastors in the LGA for ensuring that the funds given for the program is properly utilized because he took time to attend the prayers in all the communities.

The Ogu/Bolo Council boss used the avenue to reel out some of the projects his administration has been able to execute since he came into office. He recounted the notable projects as  youth empowerment programs, water projects, building of health centers, renovation of some Government facilities, building of Amayanabo palace in Bolo among others.

The Council Chairman stated that these could only be possible because the pastors and people have always been in prayers for the growth and development of the communities in the LGA, adding that God has been on his side directing him on the path to follow all through the journey.

Speaking on the topic: “The Power of Unity”, Pastor David Obiyeomie admonished the people to live in unity because, according to him, that is the only way they can succeed and in return bring development to the community.

Pastor Ibiyeomie who said he had to personally attend the event because of the love for the community, commended Nemieboka for the developmental projects already executed, while acknowledging the fact that other projects sighted are at their finishing stages.

He further commended the people of Ogu/Bolo Local Government Area for living in peace and making the area, most peaceful in Rivers State.

Speaking at the event, the Chairman of Bolo Ministers Forum (BMF), Pastor Mina Timon, thanked the Council Chairman for the support and encouragement always shown to BMF and towards the actualization and success of the Bolo Community Annual Prayer Summit, and prayed that the Almighty God will uplift him to a high place of service.

He also thanked the Amayanabo, chiefs, members of BMF and people of Bolo Community for Christmas coming together as one to ensure that the 19th edition of the prayer summit was a huge success.
