The fates of opposition political parties in Rivers State have come under threat as the possibility of their extinction looks imminent, following a statement issued by the Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Rivers State Chapter, Ambassador Desmond Akawor.
The statement issued in Port Harcourt the State Capital, disclosed that an official welcoming of some leaders of the All Progressives Congress, APC and the African Action Congress, AAC, would hold on Thursday September 30 at Isaac Boro Park in the city centre.
According to the statement, Governor Nyesom Wike will grace the occasion, with other leaders and stakeholders of PDP. The names of bigwigs from these political parties are: Hon. Chief Ogbonna Nwuke ( former Rivers State APC Spokesman and former member of the House of Representatives), Rt. Hon. Chibudum Nwuche OFR, (former Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives),
