Christians Urged To Have Faith In God

…As Couple Dedicate First Male Child

The resident pastor of the Royal Apostolic Restoration Outreach, Elelenwo in Obio/Akpor Local Government Area of Rivers State, Rev’d Stephen Amadi has urged Christians to have absolute faith and trust in God as they patiently wait for His divine touch.

He stated this while delivering the sermon during the child dedication of Prince David Chimezulem Chima Amadi over the weekend.

The man of God made it clear in the sermon which theme was “Divine Touch,” that in life everybody needs it, adding if one’s faith connects to the word of God, every impossibility becomes possible if one hope and trust in God.

According to him, “No matter one’s situation or challenges, when we stop lamenting but direct our challenges to God in prayers, through His Divine touch, the situation changes for good”, he declared.

Highlight of the event was the dedication of the child proper to God which was preceded by well-wishers and family members of the couple who danced to the altar with their gift items to God.

Speaking to newsmen at the reception held at the couple’s residence, the Deputy National Commandant of the Man O’ War para-military outfit Cmder Natty Risi, who is the uncle to Mr. Chima Amadi, the celebrant, said he was overwhelmed the event because the arrival of a male child into the family is a welcome development after ten years of marriage which had produced four females with its attendant challenges.

In his speech, Mr. Amadi said his joy new no bounds because of the arrival of his son as it has indeed wiped away tears of many years from their faces.

“I passed through stress and agony during this period”, God did not only fulfil my petition but healed me of a strange ailment at the same time”.

He used the opportunity to advise those who have the same predicament to hope and trust God for their own miracles, adding that there is nothing the Lord cannot do.

“We should patiently wait for our own time”, he advised. Also speaking, his wife, Mrs. Precious Chima Amadi said she was indeed excited and overwhelmed at God’s works in her family.

“Apart from remembering us with a male child after four female children before now, we passed through hell on earth”, she recalled.

Mrs Amadi further disclosed that while she was heavy with the pregnancy, she was equally entangled with the burden of attending to her sick husband and other family challenges, “God, she said gave them victory in all aspect.”

Mrs Amadi, the celebrant used the opportunity to advise other women in similar situation to pray and have confidence in God for a divine solution.
