The Rivers State government has denied speculations circulating across social media platforms, that Local Government Chairmen and certain categories of aides of the governor have been sacked or suspended.

The statement underscores the need for Rivers people and the wider public to disregard the unfounded rumors, assuring that, at the appropriate time, the public will be informed about any changes in the composition of His Excellency’s team.
Warisenibo Joe Johnson emphasized that he, in his role as the Commissioner for Information and Communications, will keep the public updated on developments as they unfold.
