All is now set for the 15th Anniversary Celebration by The Divine Favour Baptist Church, Amadi-Ama, Rainbow district of Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
The event, which commences on Friday, November 16, 2018, will run for three days with the theme: Celebrating God’s Sustaining Grace, taken from Philippians 1:6.
A statement issued by the Planning Committee, headed by Bro Sunny Zorvah, invites Christian faithful, including churches, Christian leaders and lovers of the gospel to be part of this great experience.
The statement stated that highlights of the 15th Anniversary Celebration include Praise Night on Friday, November 16, by 5pm, Free Medical Services on Saturday 17th, starting 10am, and Worship Service/Love Feast on Sunday 18th, beginning from 8:30am.
Speaking on the event, Bro Sunny Zorvah explained that invitation has been specifically extended to some sister churches and their choirs as well as leading choral groups in Port-Harcourt, who are expected to perform at the Praise Night.
He further said the free medical services will not be restricted to members of the church but would be given to all those who attend the programme and are willing to participate in it on the scheduled date.
The Committee Chairman also emphasized that there would be special presentations by individuals and groups on Sunday, November 18, during the worship service, adding that all of this is to celebrate God’s sustaining grace and “to demonstrate our hope in God”.
He noted that inspite of some challenges over the time, God has remained faithful to the church as a body and members all these years, saying it is important that the church testifies to the works of an awesome God.
