The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Rivers State Chapter will lock horns in a friendly football match with Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria PSN, Rivers state Chapter in the state.
This followed a request from the PSN for a friendly match between the PHARMACO BOMBERS of PSN and the NUJ football team.
The friendly match is amongst the pre-conference events of the 2018 PHARMACY WEEK scheduled to take place on Saturday, 29th September 2018 by 4pm at the Yakubu Gowon stadium formerly known as Liberation stadium Elekahia, Port-Harcourt.
The PSN, Rivers state routine activities includes the provision of health information, health commodities , Pharmaceutical care and support, adding that the PHARMACY WEEK will as well attract not only her members from all over the state but also other healthcare professionals.
Consequently, the State NUJ Media Games Committee have requested all journalists who are interested in participating in the friendly to avail themselves for a pre-match training which will hold at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia on Wednesday, 26 September, 2018 by 3 pm.
A statement by the Secretary of the Committee, Mr. Olufemi Ogunkilede urged journalists to come for the training with their kits.
