I’ll Bring Effective Representation To My People  – Dumnamene Dekor

The member-elect for Khana/Gokana Federal Constituency in last Saturday National Assembly election, Hon. Dumnamene Robinson Dekor has reassured his people that he would not renege in his avowed commitment to provide them quality and effective representation.

Speaking shortly after the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared him winner of the National Assembly election conducted across the country last Saturday, Dekor reaffirmed his resolve to also take it up from where his predecessor stopped.

“By the special grace of God Almighty, I will strive to attract programmes, projects and good governance to my people”, he affirmed, adding that the electoral victory was not just his but that of the people of Khana and Gokana.

The former Deputy Speaker in the Rivers State House of Assembly and immediate past Works Commissioner in the State, assured his constituents that he would participate in all processes of lawmaking, adding that it is only in that way that his people would have a voice in the scheme of things.

“As a federal lawmaker, one of the things I would endeavor to do is to bring the problems of our people in national discourse and follow them up to its logical conclusion”, he declared.

While commending the people of Khana and Gokana Federal Constituency for the confidence and unalloyed trust with their votes, Hon. Dekor further charged them to demonstrate same spirit by reelecting Governor Nyesom Wike as well as all PDP House of Assembly candidates on March 9, 2019.
