YOGA’s Boss Dreams Big At 40

… Set To Open New Frontiers For Youths

The age long cliché about real life beginning at forty, was again reaffirmed on Thursday, March 21, 2019 as famous IT expert and Executive Director of Youths for Greater Africa (YOGA), Mr. Jerry-Umelu Freeborn clocked 40.

To underscore his penchant for exclusivity, the youthful entrepreneur, expectedly decided to spoil his friends a little! That was how all roads led to the posh Asia Town, a classy Chinese restaurant sitting at the serene Forces Avenue in Old GRA, Port Harcourt.

The suave Facebook Digital Consultant and convener of the annual Port Harcourt International Science and Technology Expo, stood in amazement as his guests chorused a happy birthday, joined by staffers of Asia Town as he cut the birthday cake.

The array of friends that lined up for the brief ceremony included bankers, legal practitioners, oil and gas barons, media personages as well as IT and other corporate executives.

There was the vivacious Lisa Akogny, co-founder and Chair of International Affairs from Knowledge First International Academy, Houston, Texas.

Acogny who is currently in Rivers State to grant students from the State a great opportunity to American universities, graced the event with a cream of other guests from the United States.

The ceremony witnessed an outpouring of tributes led by the Publisher of Supreme Magazine, Mr. Raymond Ukaegbu, who commended the never-say-die spirit in him.

Every other speaker spoke eloquently about Freeborn, described him as an energetic and hardworking personality, with his adorable wife, Deborah, capping the tributary, describing her hubby as a goal getter.

H said that he had no regret in his 40 years of age.

“No regrets!  My biggest achievement so far is that I told God I wouldn’t want to get to the foot of forty without seeing and doing business in the six figures and God made it possible.

“And now that I have made the six figures, I would actually want to cross into the next level and open up a new frontier for business that would take over the whole of Africa”, he said, adding that this had already kick-started with the annual Port Harcourt International Science and Technology Expo, which according to him, has provided the gauntlet for harnessing budding talents.

Freeborn said his next move is to open up more frontiers to encompass every area of humanity, hence his contract with VISA and Tarpidotronics Limited.
