Following the need to address the emerging issues confronting the nation with particular reference to Rivers State, an emergency prayer/church Leaders’ meeting have been scheduled to hold on Thursday 13th May, 2021 at St. Michael’s Anglican Deanery, Rumuomasi Obio/Akpor by 11:00am prompt.
Consequently, the church leaders as fathers of faith are respectively invited by this medium to attend this all important knowledge sharing session.
The statement signed by the Rivers CAN Secretary, Arch Bishop Emma Ogu has Rt Rev Odu, Bishop of Evo diocese as the guest speaker.
The statement which was extended to the press advised all participants to be seated before 11:00am.
Speaking with newsmen the chairman of Rivers CAN Most Special Apostle Stanley Dimkpa said the killings either by the terrorist group or unknown gunmen calls for concern. He made it clear that there is anxiety and danger in the land which prompted CAN to call for emergency prayers to be held by the fathers of faith because we are fighting against principalities and power.
