Wike’s Victory, Divine Intervention, Hard Work – Emeh

A frontline politician in Rivers State and Special Adviser to the Rivers State Governor on Political Matters and Strategy, Barr.Emeh Glory Emeh, has declared that the victory of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State in the just concluded governorship election is well deserved because the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, worked for it.

Speaking with our reporter in his office in Port Harcourt on the political situation in Rivers State, the former commissioner for transport and aviation insisted that it was foolhardy  for some politicians to think that they can win elections from Abuja, without campaigning in the state.

Chief Emeh maintained that the Governor’s superlative performance in this four years has endeared him to the citizens of the state, which was the reason why the PopularView has maintained that there is no alternative to Governor Wike in Rivers State.

Barr.Emeh Glory Emeh, who served as Deputy Director Information and Communications-Electronics and print media of PDP Campaign Council, dismissed politicians who rely on external forces to win elections in the state as dreamers.

“Let me repeat it once again that those who are on self exile in Abuja and Lagos and think they can rely on Godfatherism outside the state to win the votes of our people without doing anything to merit it are dreaming in fools paradise. It is not debatable that Governor Wike, in the short but very impressive period of being in office, have shown Rivers people that he is not only a committed and patriotic true son of the state but was adequately prepared for service to humanity, and it is in appreciation of Wike’s unprecedented performance that our people referred to the man they decorated with the Grand Service Star of Rivers State as The Pride Of Rivers State”, the lawyer politician posited with satisfaction.

He stated that the election results declared  by the Independent National Electoral Commission,INEC, has sent strong signal to those who want to reap where they did not sow, adding that Rivers people have made their choice and that their decision remains inviolable.

The political strategist thanked INEC and the people of Rivers  State for being steadfast inspite of all the pressures and intimidations, assuring that posterity will not forget their sacrifices to ensuring that the will of the majority prevailed in Rivers State.

Chief Emeh called on politicians from other political parties who still regard themselves as opponents of the ruling party in the state to take advantage  Governor Wike’s window of promise of an inclusive administration, assuring them that, with the Governor’s antecedents, he will surely keep to his promise.

The former chief of staff, Government House, called on Rivers people to keep faith with Governor Wike, assuring that his second tenure will usher in higher levels of developments in the state.

He also used the opportunity to congratulate the PDP and the leadership of the party.
