As the State warms up for the historic inauguration of Gov Nyesom Wike’s second term in office tomorrow, State Chairman of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Bro Felix Obuah has appealed to all Rivers people and residents alike to be part of the celebration.
Bro. Obuah said the celebration is for all Rivers people irrespective of ethnic, party affiliation or creed moreso, as the election that brought about the inauguration was divine and not by anybody’s prompting.
It’s for this reason, the State PDP boss noted, that the State government has put in place all machinery to ensure every Rivers man and woman, youths and friends of the State are part of the celebration.
Bro Obuah further declared that the Wednesday, May 29, 2019 inauguration, which will hold at the Yakubu Gowon Stadium, Elekahia, will kick-start the all inclusive second term administration of Gov Wike as divinely engineered.
He assured of adequate security within and around the venue during and after the epoch-making inauguration.
Bro Obuah recalled Gov Wike’s earlier call to all Rivers people to put behind all perceived differences and join hands with him to ensure that the welfare and interests of ‘our Rivers’ people are given a boost for the overall good and progress of the State.
