…Pastor Warns Testifier To Turn From Evil Way
While different people shared diverse testimonies to appreciate God for the out gone year 2020, a man with a difference narrated how Providence has helped him to escape arrests, death and accident as a bunkerer (oil thief) on the creeks at okirika in Rivers State.
The young man, name withheld, according to information scarcely attended service at Rhema Chapel International Churches, Port Harcourt(as not to address him as a member of the church.)
But our investigations revealed that he used to attend the church long time ago and had long abandoned coming around as a worshipper. And so, when it was time for people to come and appreciate God for all that he did. Many had thanked God for miraculous healing, promotion, breakthrough and others, until the young man in question took the microphone to share his testimony to the amazement of many.
The young man, expressed his appreciation to God for helping him escape on different occasions from the grip of naval officers on the creeks patrol where he and other men were into bunkering work.
According to him, “I have seen some people arrested, wounded, and shot dead. Our boat had capsized at different times, but in all of this, God had protected me”
While he had field day testifying without remorse, the pastor kept quiet until he mounted the pulpit to share the cross over night message, titled. “The power of change” the Minister- in-Charge Rhema Chapel International Port Harcourt , Pastor Abiola Ajadi , warned the young man to consider his way , not to take the mercies of God for granted , having escaped danger at different times of taking risks in illegal activities. The man of God warned that his repeated escapes were enough warning signs from God for him not to continue in illicit adventure but seek genuine way of making a living.
