Chairmanship Primaries: ONELGA PDP Aspirant, Dr. Abali Elated Over Outcome, Congratulates Winners
One of the frontline Chairmanship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ogba/ Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area (ONELGA), Dr. Innocent Abali (KSS), has commended the leadership of the party for conducting what he described as very transparent and all-inclusive primaries ahead of the April 17, 2021 elections.
Reacting to the emergence of Hon. Vincent Nwaobakata as Chairmanship candidate of ONELGA, Dr. Abali stated that PDP will always remain the best political party in Nigeria and called on Rivers people to vote massively for the party during the April polls, to actualize the new Rivers vision of Governor Wike led administration.
His words: “I must commend the leadership of our great party, the Peoples Democratic Party for ensuring that internal democratic process was explored in her bid to produce Councillorship and Chairmanship candidates for the upcoming Local Government elections in the State. This strategy has helped most aspirants who lost during the primaries to accept defeat without rancour, acrimony and altercation of verbal war.
“I have never felt this way, neither have I had the opportunity to belong to a political party that ensures that people freely expressed their aspirations. Let me thank the Government of the State and our political Master, Chief Barr. Ezenwo Nyesom Wike for ensuring that the party primaries were peaceful, free and fair”.
The PDP chieftain said kudos must go to all the candidates who emerged victorious across the 23 LGA’s, especially, Hon Vincent Nwaobakata who he prayed, would be piloting the affairs of ONELGA, stating that PDP flag bearer possessed the desired qualitiesto transform the LGA for the good of all.
While pledging his commitment to the ideals of the PDP, Dr. Abali said he is looking forward to an overwhelming victory of all the elected candidates across the various LGA’s come April 17, 2021.
