Dr Kpalukwu and a delegation of the League Management Company paid a visit to the boys in their training camp in Abuja and also witnessed their evening training session after which he admonished the boys to be excellent representatives of the club they belong to.

“I am here on behalf on the entire Rivers United family to let both of you know that we solidly behind you. As you go on to don the green and white jersey of this great nation, ensure you do your best as good representative of the “Pride of Rivers”.

Responding, the players also assured their teeming fans that they will do their best in projecting the name of Rivers United in a best possible manner on the global map. They also wished their teammates the best in the league and Cup games they will play in their absence.
