“Listening to the Amananyabo of Abonnema today, we have no difficulties in concluding that Governor Wike is indeed the Pride Of the riverine communities of Rivers State.

“By sandfilling as well as constructing over 16 kilometers Trans-Kalabari road – traversing several riverine communities in Akuku Toru, Asari- Toru and Degema: the three coastal Kalabari Local Government Areas which were neglected by previous administration, Governor Wike has removed the traditional reverine and upland dychotomy, and has teansformed Rivers as a united state where no part of the state is neglected on account of tribal or political differences

Barr Emeh, who is a strategist in Politics and Governance further said:

“Instead of primordial sentiments, capacity and ability to perform should be the pre-conditions for identifying leaders in the mould of Governor Wike, who has been recognised as the Pride Of Rivers State by Rivers people.

“It will therefore not be difficult for the state to choose a leader in 2023 using Governor Nyesom a Wike as a model”, the former Commissioner for Transport and Aviation concluded.
