The 9th Emohua Local Government Legislative Assembly has declared its full support for the Executive Chairman of the Local Government, Dr Chidi Lloyd in his vision to reposition the Local Government Area.
The Assembly made the declaration through the leader , Rt Hon (Mrs) Love Nyenke on Tuesday. Mrs Nyenke said they were strongly behind the council chairman’s resolve to rewrite the story of the local government area with positive narrative.
“We strongly stand with you and your vision to reposition Emohua Local Government Council beginning with the staff audit to fish out the ghost workers in the council payroll and your disciplinary measures to absenteeism and lateness to duty by Local Government Workers.
“We pray God to guide you and protect you and grant you the wisdom and knowledge to lead Emohua Local Government to greater heights as you have already started on a very sound foundation.” She said.
The leader further state that the Local Government Legislative Assembly was determined to collaborate with the council Chairman in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of the area.
