Gov Wike, Blessing To EMOLGA  – Woke

The administration of Governor Nyesom Wike in Rivers State has been a great blessing to the people of Emohu and the people are grateful. This observation was made by the Chief of Staff, Government House, Port Harcourt, Engr. Emeka Woke, while speaking with newsmen on the sidelines of the flag-off of the Emohua campus of the Rivers State University, on Monday, May 31, 2021 at the new campus site, near Ogbakiri.

Engr. Emeka Woke, who is from Isiodu town in the Emohua LGA, applauded Governor Wike for the generous love he has shown to the people of the LGA, from the appointment of her sons and daughters into his cabinet, starting from himself as the Chief of Staff, Government House, to infrastructural development in the area.

“You are aware that the Governor has constructed so many roads in Emohua LGA. Starting from Abaka road, Ohna Awuse- Rumuakunde- Rumuche Road that was constructed and completed by Julius Berger construction company and commissioned.

“The Governor has also constructed, completed and commissioned the East – West Isiodu road that is over 10.5 kilometers – with drainages on both sides.

“His Excellency, Barr. Nyesom Wike, the Governor of Rivers State constructed, conpleted and commissioned Rumuji- Ibaa-Obele-Isiokpo roads. He also constructed Elele Alimini internal roads that has been completed and commissioned.

“As we speak, Akpabu – Egbeda and Omudioga road Is under construction; so also that of Rumuodogo 1& 2. By the grace of God, on June 12, 2021, Ogbakiri internal roads will be commissioned”, he further explained.

The Chief of Staff described the flag – off of a campus of Rivers State University at Emohua LGA as a further demonstration of the Governor’s love for the people, even as he noted that it will open the area up for development.

“Before the pronouncement of building the campus by His Excellency, a plot of land here was sold for less than #300,000. But today, you cannot get a plot of land here for #2,000,000: that is development.

“For the good works and the economic values the Governor has added in Emuohua, the people have come out in their numbers to say thank you”, Engr. Emeka Woke further stated.

He also disclosed that the Governor has concluded to build Police Divisions in all the new campuses at Etche, Emohua and Ahoada to guarantee security for all, while assuring that the students will be in safe hands.
