Ahoada East APC Swears In New Executive, Promises To Take Over Rivers State In 2023
The newly inaugurated Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC), Ahoada East Chapter, Chief Salvation Ezegwowo has assured his members that the APC is now ready to take over Rivers State come 2023. He said it is going to be war to win souls but not to fight their brothers to ensure that the right thing is being done in Ahoada East.
He said this during the inauguration ceremony of the Ahoada East executive of APC Saturday, October 2, 2021 at the Ahoada East Local Government Party Secretariat.
While inaugurating the members, Chief Ezegwowo charged them to be committed to their assignment as the party is sure of winning the 2023 elections and that they would leave a legacy for the next generation at the expiration of their administration.
According to him, his administration as the party chairman would give so much priority to the ward level, reason being that on the day of the election everybody would retire to his/her ward for voting.
He admonished the newly inaugurated executive to respect their ward chairmen and work hand in hand with them because they are in charge of the party and also respect the pillar of the party at the ward level. He also urged the ward chairmen to respect the new executive because they were elected by the stakeholders and the party.
Chief Ezegwowo declared the dissolution of all existing committees set up by the previous administration and announced the appointment of Comrade Oyagiri Chime-emele as the SA on information and Documentation, Hon. Queen Ideozu-SA on Women Affairs, Hon. Uwu-ma Awala – Chief Protocol and Hon. Jefferson Bob – SA on Special Duties.
Barr. Eric C. Apia, the leader of APC, Ahoada East who was represented by the outgoing chairman, Mudani China urged the newly inaugurated executive to always bear in mind that taking the oath of allegiance means that their primary allegiance should always be on how to make Ahoada East greater than what it was yesterday.
He further urged them to put in their very best and also begged the members to give the executive all the necessary support to ensure that APC wins all the elections come 2023.
On behalf of other members, Robert China thanked the party leadership for finding them worthy to serve and promised that they would live up to expectation.
He also pleaded for team work for the party to grow from strength to strength.
The oath of allegiance was administered on them by Barr. Nathan Akatakpo.
