Political Group Leader Canvases Block Votes For Atiku

The National Deputy Chairman of “Deservation Project 774 for Atiku 2019”, one of the campaign groups for the PDP presidential aspirant, Atiku Abubakar, Pastor Peter Izoduwa Idugboe, has called on Rivers people and all Nigerians to vote out the APC-led administration come 2019 general elections.

Making the appeal during the official inauguration of the State Executive members at the PDP Secretariat in Port Harcourt, Pastor Idugboe said that all hands must be on deck to ensure that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in 2019 return to power at both the federal and State levels, saying the All Progressives Congress has unleashed untold hardship on Nigerians.

According to him, the group, “Deservation Project 774 for Atiku 2019”, is to consolidate the PDP structure and to sensitize the electorate to enable them vote out APC government at all levels, adding that the group is ready to go to the nooks and crannies of the country, so as to galvanize more support for  Alhaji Atiku Abubakar.

He urged the newly inaugurated State Executives to be focused on their mission of getting to the deserted areas to get votes for Atiku and that they should sensitize the electorate as a matter of necessity to get their permanent voters’ cards, which he described as the weapon to vote out the APC-led government that has led to mass insecurity across the country as well as collapse of the standard of living.

Pastor Idugboe enjoined the people not to be afraid of the antics of the APC, noting that Alhaji Atiku Abubakar is a capable candidate, who will be able to confront the APC and win power back convincingly for the PDP party come 2019.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of his members, the Coordinator-General, Amb. Baridoge Nwiabu, thanked the authorities for finding them worthy to serve, promising that they would not betray the confidence reposed in them.

He assured that delivering Atiku, Governor Nyesom Wike and all other PDP candidates is a task that must be done.

The State women leader, Mrs. Stella Prince Nwaonuma, on her part, said that without women, the goals of democracy cannot be achieved and so urged women to participate fully in making Nigeria work again by voting their principal Atiku Abubakar.

Those who also made speeches at the inauguration include Prince Eginson Unwene and Barr. Darlington Amadi for Atiku Vanguard, while the oath of Allegiance was administered by Ubele Sunny Esq.
