Emeka Beke May Be Suspended As APC Chairman
Chief Emeka Beke, APC factional chairman loyal to the Transportation Minister, seems to have landed into trouble and may be suspended from the party.
A reliable source disclosed that Emeka Beke disobeyed Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi and sneaked to Abuja to be inaugurated by the new National Committee of the APC headed by Abubakar Sani Bello during the leadership crisis/vacuum that rocked the party few weeks ago.
My source said on hearing the news that Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello had taken over the chairmanship of APC during those crisis weeks and plans to inaugurate new chairmen of APC, Amaechi called Chief Beke to ignore the temptation of coming to Abuja to present himself for inauguration.
The appearance of Chief Beke at the inauguration in Abuja, the source said, angered Amaechi terribly.
My source theorized that in the coming days, Amaechi’s wrath may befall the innocent chief who only went to Abuja to seal his chairmanship position.
Chief Beke may be suspended at the ward and LGA level to pave way for his removal as the chairman of the Rivers APC. Will this happen?
But by refusing to listen to the Transportation Minister, is Chief Beke now working for the interest of Senator Magnus Abe? That is the insinuations in the air right now.
