All Stars Soccer Club Honours Madam Nyeche, As Body Goes Home Saturday
Let’s Play All Stars Football Club of Port Harcourt has concluded plans to honour the departed mother of their member and former coach, Late Madam Paulina Nwolu Nyeche who died on the 18th day of February, 2022 at the age of 70, with a novelty match.
A terse statement by her son, Mr. Uchechukwu Nyeche and made available to Sports Networkon Monday, said the club will square up against arch rival, Oro-Akwor Community, Rumueme Kingdom where the late Madam Nyeche hails from.
The encounter which comes up on Friday, April 29, 2022 by 4.00pm at the soccer pitch of Model Girls Secondary School, Rumueme, promises to be thrilling as according to the Uchechukwu, his late mother was an avid lover of sports especially football.
Feelers from both camps said the players have dusted their kits in readiness for the encounter. An anonymous community fan who said he cannot wait for the D-day said: “Mama is a football lover. I know that even though she won’t be physically present to watch the game because of her demise, her spirit will definitely be around to applaud the players”.
Madam Nyeche’s remains would be committed to mother earth on Saturday, April 30, 2022 at her husband’s residence, Oro-Akwor, Rumueme Community, Obio Akpor Local Government Area.
“She is selfless and committed to humanity and the things of God”, a tearful Uchechukwu told Sports Network.
