Orashi People In Sober Mood Over The Outcome Of Rivers State PDP Guber Primary Election
The people of Orashi Region of Rivers State both at home and indispora are sad and in sober mood following the outcome of the just concluded Governorship primary election of Peoples Democratic Party in Rivers State.
Their soberness and disquiet is sequel to the manner and manipulation, the immediate past Rivers State PDP chairman, their political leader and one of the leading aspirants to the Rivers State Brick House, Bro. Felix Amaechi Obuah JP (aka Go Round) was treated at the Rivers State PDP Governorship primary election held on Wednesday 25th May, 2022 in Port Harcourt instead of allowing all the aspirants to test their popularities.
Members of Otu Ozimini Age Grade of Ogba Kingdom (World Wide) a non-political organization in Rivers State who expressed their lamentation and anger through a statement issued by its National Chairman, Prince Charles Amadike-Otoboh, JP (Mmboh Krikri) described the outcome of the PDP Governorship primary election in Rivers State as unfortunate, shock, surprise and an envy to Go Round’s achievements so far in life.
They noted that the outcome of the primary election was not the true reflection of what was expected by the good people of Rivers State noting that what the PDP leadership in Rivers State did at the primary election was climbing on the back of a tiger and wondered why a popular and front line aspirant in the person of Bro. Felix Obuah will be allocated only two votes, what an insult, wickedness and hatred.
According to the Otu Ozimini National Chairman, though they were not speaking for Bro. Felix Obuah but the good people of the area were disappointed, humiliated saying that what the PDP leadership in Rivers State did was paying the good people of Orashi region with bad coin.
Though despite their anger and disappointment, the group have therefore joined Bro. Felix Obuah (Eze Orashi Region) to appeal to the entire people of Orashi Region to remain calm and have hope in God as tomorrow is pregnant and may be after better than yesterday and thanked Go Round for projecting a member of the Age Grade Dr. Frankline Uchenna Nwabochi for the Rivers State House of Assembly representing ONELGA Consistency 1.
Recall, Bro. Felix Obuah, JP, had through a press statement issued by his media aide, Pastor Jerry Needam, JP sued for peace and understanding among his numerous fans and political allies nationwide over the choice of who flies the PDP flag in Rivers State come 2023 general elections as according to him “As a good and loyal party man, who ever emerges at the jut concluded primary election will have his support”.
