Bori DPO, SP Angbashim Bags Honourary Doctorate Degree
The Divisional Police Officer (DPO) of Bori Division, Superintendent Bako Angbashim has been honoured with a Doctorate degree (Honoris Causa)
The International Victory Bible Institute, Tulsa Oklahoma USA, in affiliation with Omni Bible University International and Nehemiah Bible Institute, South Africa, conferred the honourary Doctorate degree on the senior police based on his outstanding efforts in maintaining peace in the area.
The ceremony recently took place at Bori, May 14, 2022, during the 9th convocation/10th matriculation ceremony of the institution.
SP Angbashim has won several awards from various quarters for peace promotion and zero tolerance for criminalities.
In appreciation for his efforts at conflict management in the area, SP Angbashim was also conferred with a chieftaincy title by the chiefs and people of Nortem-Bori which qualifies him as member of the chiefs-in-council as Mene Bae Boro-Bueh (Chief that guides and protects the community).
Sp (Dr) Angbashim in his remarks, commended the institution for such an honour and attributed his success story to his love for peace, and promised to continue to fight for justice and society free from crimes.
Narrating his passion for fighting against crime and criminality, he promised that he would continue to play a vital role in keeping the lives and property safe at all times in course of his duty.
SP Angbashim said the award was so cherished by him on account of where it came from, which he said has both human and divine endorsement.
“I and my men will continue to discharge our duties in order to achieve the much needed peace in the state and the country at large,” the highly elated Angbashim reassured.
