Wike Has Transformed Rivers State – Traditional Ruler

A traditional ruler in Rivers State has said Governor Nyesom Wike has transformed the state.

His Royal Highness Eze Owabie Tobin said in an interview on Friday that  Governor Wike has interest of the state at heart and works to improve the well-being of people of the state.

Eze Tobin who is the paramount ruler of Mgbundukwu Community in Mile I and II, Diobu, Port-Harcourt City Local Government Area said that Wike deserves commendation for commissioning projects to mark his 100 days in office as governor of Rivers State for second term.

His Royal Highness Eze Tobin who is Eze Onumini I of Mgbundukwu Community said he was not praising Governor Wike to get “money” from him but he praises him because he’s doing “the right thing” performing his responsibilities as governor of Rivers State.

He said whether elected officials belong to Peoples Democratic Party, All Progressives’ Congress or any other party  what’s important is for them to perform their responsibilities and bring change to the people.

He said Wike has done well and can run for third term if there was constitutional provision for third term.

He however said he was not pleased the Governor Wike did not invite him to be part of activities marking his 100 days in office.

On security, Eze Tobin said Governor Wike has done well by tackling insecurity in the state, saying that insecurity has gone down in Diobu axis of the state.

He commended the state chief executive for providing vehicles and logistics for security agents in the state, saying it has helped security agencies to perform better in fighting crime in Rivers State.

Eze Tobin also praised Governor Wike for promising to complete in sixteen months three flyovers in the state at Garrison, Artillery and Rumuokoro in Port-Harcourt City and Obio/Akpor Local Government Areas of the metropolis.

He said Mayor of Port-Harcourt City Local Government Area, Hon. Victor Ihunwo “is also trying” for people of his local government area of the state.
