Obuah To Service Providers: I’m Impressed, Keep It Up

The Sole Administrator, Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA), Bro. Felix Obuah says he is impressed with the new outlook of Port Harcourt, the State capital and its environs and urged Service Providers working for the Agency to keep it up.

Bro. Obuah said Service Providers working with the Agency deserves commendation for keeping the State clean in this period of coronavirus pandemic.

The RIWAMA boss who spoke during his routine morning monitoring of some sections of Port Harcourt, the State capital and its environs on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, said he is overwhelmed by the clean outlook of Port Harcourt, the State capital and its environs.

He said he was particularly impressed with the disappearance of refuse at some of the medians of roads and expressed hope that those in the habit of dumping refuse indiscriminately on the median of roads would turn a new leaf.

Bro. Obuah who moved through some major roads and streets in course of the exercise, expressed satisfaction with the outlook of the roads and urged the Service Providers to keep up the good work as the task of keeping the city clean and healthy at all times is, in his words, symbiotic.

While applauding Governor Nyesom Ezenwo Wike for his continued support to the Agency, Bro. Obuah appealed to those residents and traders who are yet to embrace the new sanitation culture in the State to do so, as failure would attract arrest and prosecution.
