Group Salutes PDP, Says Sim Is Best Choice

A socio-political group known as Ambassadors For Sim/Odu 2023, has again thumbed up the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State over the choice of Amaopusenibo Siminialayi Fubara and Professor Ngozi Odu as the party’s Guber candidate and deputy respectively, in next year general election in the state.

In a joint statement in Port Harcourt on Monday, the group said by its action, PDP has put a round peg in a round hole. Signed by its Coordinator, Hon. Princewill Brown and Senibo Gogo Dappa respectively, the group in the statement, affirmed that it will leave no stone unturned to ensure that the efforts of the PDP in presenting the Guber flag bearer to Rivers people is well complemented.

It reiterated that Amaopusenibo Sim Fubara is the right man for the job, adding that he possessed all requisite qualities needed to continue the good job which Governor Wike is doing for the state, come May, 2023.

The group described the choice of Fubara as victory for the youths whose yearnings to take the driving seat may have been realized.

It specially thanked Governor Nyesom Wike for not only providing quality leadership to Rivers State but ensuring that the Guber flag of the party is handed to a fitting personality.

The statement read: “Sir Sim Fubara is wired for leadership. His wise, humane and humble dispositions are great virtues that will put him on the right pedestrian to pilot the affairs of the state”.

It noted that as part of efforts to ensure a smooth victory for the PDP guber candidate and his deputy, the Ambassadors For Sim/Odu 2023 has begun a Door to Door PVC collection and sensitization campaign.

“Our expectation is that it’s not going to be business as usual in next year general elections. Rivers people will have to arm themselves with their PVCs, and use them to vote for the man God has ordained for us, Sir Siminialayi Fubara”, the statement ended.
