Again, Obuah Likens Sir Fubara To David, Says He’s God’s Chosen
The Director-General of the Rivers State PDP Campaign Council, Bro. Felix Obuah has again described the governorship flag bearer of the party, Sir Siminalayi Fubara as a divine project chosen by God to serve the state.
Speaking when he received the Executive Members of the Host Communities of Nigeria Producing Oil and Gas (HOSTCOM) at his palace in Omoku, Sunday, Bro. Obuah said the emergence of Fubara could be likened to the selection of David who eventually became the King of Israel amongst his brothers.
Referencing the book of Romans 13:1, he told the visiting HOSTCOM executives, the former PDP State Chairman said no power or authority would be if it does not have the backing of God.
“God’s own time is the best, so we should be happy because God has chosen. And whatever God says must come to pass.
“I call Fubara a divine project because in the choice of Saul as the King of Israel, even David wasn’t the mightiest. When all the giants and the mighty men gathered, those making the selection asked if there was still someone else and they answered that there’s still one left but he’s a small boy. When the ‘small boy’ appeared, God said he is the one.
“On making of a king, no one but God does it. That’s why I tell people not to bother because your own time will come”, Obuah said.
The PDP Campaign DG, who is also the immediate past Sole Administrator of the Rivers State Waste Management Agency (RIWAMA) said: “Just David didn’t impose himself on the people of Israel, so Sim did not impose himself on the people of Rivers State. God has brought him to say, you go and represent me after Wike”.
While urging the leadership of HOSTCOM to support SIM and the PDP, he disclosed that from his history, Fubara has always been destined to lead.
“I thank you very much and I want to tell you that Siminialayi Fubara is God’s chosen at this time. If you love me, you should also love him because he is my candidate. Let’s join our votes together and cast them to the chosen one”, he said, adding that with PDP, Rivers people will achieve their dreams.
