Rivers PDP Deputy Gov’ship Candidate, Prof Ngozi Odu Takes SIM Gospel To Mile One Market

The Deputy Governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Rivers State, Prof. Mrs. Ngozi Nma Odu has met with officials and traders at the Mile One Market in Diobu, Port Harcourt to canvass their votes ahead of next year general elections in the State.

Prof. Odu met with the excited traders who trooped out in their thousands chanting some now famous Wike’s songs, thanking them for the warm reception accorded her.

The PDP Deputy governorship hopeful appealed to the traders to take the excitement they have shown her, tp ensure that her principal, Sir Siminalayi Fubara and the PDP candidates at both state and national Assemblies are voted for.

Their collective votes, she said, would victory for the PDP and maintain the status quo that has led Rivers State to great heights under the able leadership of Governor Nyesom Wike.

Also speaking, the wife of the State Chairman of PDP Rivers State, Dame Mrs. Ene Akawor, educated the traders on how to vote, in order to ensure they do it correctly to avoid their votes being voided.

The state Commissioner for Women Affairs, Barr. Mrs. Ukel Oyaghiri, State Woman Leader of PDP, Hon. Mrs. Mirian Ogbonna as well as the Candidate representing Port Harcourt Federal Constituency 2 in the House of Representatives, Barr. Mrs. Blessing Chigeru Amadi all echoed the same sentiments.

The women in their respective speeches, adding that PDP is the only gender friendly party in the state that has shown the women in the state, their pride of place in politics, and urged the traders, especially the female traders to support the party, to give more women voices that will resonate with all.

The traders were ecstatic and thanked Prof Odu for associating with them and giving them supplies that will aid their business, they added that what she has done is uncommon and unprecedented. They vowed to vote for Sir Siminalayi Fubara for Governor and all PDP candidates in the state.
