APC Chieftain, Supporters In Emohua Rejoin PDP
The Rivers State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, just received another heavy blow in Emohua LGA with the decision of one of the leaders of the party in the area and erstwhile caretaker committee chairman of Emohua LGA, Engr. Nnamdi Abah to rejoin the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Engr Nnamdi Abah was led to a meeting with Governor Nyesom Wike and Sir Sim Fubara on Sunday night by the chairman of Emohua local government area, Dr. Chidi Lloyd at the governor’s country home in Obio-Akpor LGA, where he formally declared his intention to rejoin the PDP.
The PDP claimed the decision by Engr. Abah to rejoin the PDP may not be unconnected with the fact that the APC had long ago gone into extinction in Rivers State, resulting from lack of effective leadership in the party, as well as the sterling performance of the PDP led government in Rivers State.
The PDP also described the defection of Engr Abah as the total eradication of the rag-tag remnants of the APC in Rumueche community and ward 4 Emohua LGA by extension.
