Rivers Guber Candidate Sues For Peaceful  Campaign In New Year Message

Prince Ugo Beke, the APGA Governorship Candidate for Rivers State in the 2023 elections, has in a strongly worded New Year message, sued for a peaceful Governorship and state Assembly elections in Rivers state and the country at large.

“Glory be to God for sparing our lives to witness year 2023 in spite of the heightened insecurity, hunger and unemployment that ravaged our country in 2022. I wish to join millions of Rivers people and Nigerians in general in congratulating all Nigerians for making it to the new year, 2023” he said.

Prince Beke, in a goodwill message, released on Thursday and signed by the Media & Political Marketing Directorate of the Prince Ugo Beke Campaign Organization in Port-Harcourt, congratulated Nigerians, especially Rivers people for brazing the odds to witness the new year.

Nigeria returns to the poll again next month of February, to elect a new President, Governors, Senators, House of Representatives and State Houses of Assembly in an atmosphere already charged – amid violence and breach of peace as campaigns take centre stage.

“For Prince Beke, this new year presents a golden opportunity for us politicians to campaign with peace, and the voters to be assured of their safety, before, during and after the elections”.

APGA, from 1999 was the second party to only the PDP in Rivers state until 2015. The party seems to have returned to that position of eminence with the emergence of Beke as its governorship candidate.
