Mr Young-Arney Captain, the Spokesman/Director Media & Communication, Team Shaggy has described as false and misleading claims in some section of the media linking Hon. Ambassador Okorinama West alias Shaggy with to the cult clash in the Diobu axis of Port Harcourt.
Reacting to what he called spurious information published by haters of Shaggy in the media last week, he called on the general public not to take the said publication seriously, as it lacks all elements of truth.
According to him, the said defamatory publication was the handiwork of political detractors who are bent on smearing the hard earned reputation of Hon. Okorinama West, whom he described as a reputable business man and the candidate of the he All Progressives Congress for Rivers State House Of Assembly, Asari-Toru Constituency 2, in the just concluded 2023 general elections
He therefore urged the general public to please discountenance the smear campaign as unfounded and baseless.
He said Hon. Okorinama West is a peace loving and law abiding ciitizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria without any criminal record whatsoever.
Young-Arney Captain threatened to take necessary legal steps to unravel the authors of the defamatory post (and their sponsors) and also seek legal redress against them for their defamatory publication.
He assured that Hon. Okorinama West would not be distracted by the antics of his distractors and their failed plans on arrival
