Eze Hon. Akarolo Receives Award For Leadership Acumen, Others
For his outstanding and sterling leadership qualities and enviable penchant for philanthropy, Hon. Anthony Worlu has again been honoured with an award of excellence.
The latest honour was bestowed on the Elekahia High Chief and Traditional Ruler by the Coalition of Supporters of Democracy and Good Governance, a non-governmental organization (NGO).
Presenting the award to Eze Hon. Akarolo, the president of Coalition of Supporters of Democracy and Good Governance, Gashon Bobmanuel Achor said the honour done to Eze Akarolo was based on his love for humanity and acts of charity to people irrespective of tribe, creed or social status.
Mr Achor described Eze Akarolo as a man with uncommon character and kindness who derives pleasure in seeing others happy and putting smiles on people’s faces as well as having affection for the poor.
Eze Hon. Akarolo, according to the president of the group also deserves special commendation for presiding over the affairs of his highly urbanized people of Elekahia with dexterity and deep insight that are responsible for the peace and love that are the common features among his people.
Notwithstanding his in-depth knowledge of the people’s tradition, Eze Akarolo also stands out in business with diverse interests, Mr. Gashon Achor noted.
He therefore called on other personalities and traditional leaders across Rivers State to borrow a leaf from Eze Akarolo to promote peace and mutual co-existence of the people which will help to move the state to the desired heights.
