Somebody Is Impersonating Elikpokwuodu OSPAC – Commander

The commander of Elikpokwuodu OSPAC, Chigor Worlu has warned the public to beware of a man who goes about posing as a member of Elikpokwuodu OSPAC security and robbing people of their belongings.

Worlu said the warning has become necessary against the backdrop of announcements made in a popular radio station wherein a taxi driver alleged that a member of Elikpokwuodu OSPAC robbed him of his phones at gun-point.

According to him the impostor wears Elikpokwuodu OSPAC uniform and brandishes AK7 which he uses to intimidate and harass people.

The commander clarified that Elikpokwuodu OSPAC members do not commit crimes, but rather help the police to fight crime. He urged the public to disregard the announcements as it has nothing to do with Elikpokwuodu OSPAC.

The second in command of Elikpokwuodu OSPAC, Rowland Wobo said the security outfit has launched a manhunt for the impersonator and when arrested would be handed over to the police for further investigation and prosecution.

He told journalists that Elikpokwuodu OSPAC members do not indulge in crime, but work in conjunction with the police to fight crimes.

According to him crimes have reduced considerably in Elikpokwuodu and Rukpokwu as a result of the effective crime fighting mechanism of the security outfit and reiterated that the man who robbed the tax driver was not a member of the Elikpokwuodu OSPAC.
