Rivers Parliamentary Staff Threaten Shutdown Over Unpaid

There are indications that activities at the Rivers State House of Assembly may be disrupted, if staff of the legislative arm are not paid their 4 years outfit allowances.

This is as the national body of the parliamentary staff association of Nigeria, PASAN, threatened to shut down the assembly, if government continues to deny the workers their entitlements of 2013, 2014, 2019 and 2020

The National President of PASAN, MOHAMMED USMAN said this in an interview with journalists, decrying the failure of the Government to pay staff their allowances as unfortunate and worrisome.
