A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Rivers State from Khana Local Government Area, Amb. Marvin Yobana has resigned his membership of the party.
In a letter dated July 4, 2022, and addressed to the APC chairman for Khana LGA, made available to National Network, Amb. Yobana gave certain actions of the party which he said conflicted with his personal interests and political ideology as reason for quitting the party.
He cited the just concluded primaries of the APC at both state and national levels as one of such instances which according to him were sharply at variance with his interests and vision of a better future for the Ogonis and most unfortunate and unacceptable to him.
Amb. Marvin Yobana a philanthropist, was however, silent on his next line of action, neither did he state if he intends to defect to any other political party.
