The GDI’s PVC sensitization rally which has stormed the nooks and crannies of Rivers State in the past few weeks will berth at Degema on Wednesday, 17th August, 2022.
Our correspondent reports that the formidable grassroots political machine has in recent weeks performed tremendous sensitization on Rivers people to get their permanent voters cards ahead of the 2023 general elections.
The sensitization train which started in Opobo-Nkoro, the home local government of Sir Siminialayi Fubara, the governorship candidate of the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has swept through several other local government areas with massive turn-outs.
We gathered that already frenzied preparations are ongoing by the political leaders, traditional rulers, pro-SIM groups as well as the good people of Degema local government area to make the sensitization rally ‘The Mother of All Rallies’.
