Politics Is War Without Bloodshed – Dumo -Lulu-Briggs
The Governorship candidate of Accord Party in Rivers State, Chief (Barr.) Dumo Lulu-Briggs has described Politics as a war without bloodshed.
He made the description when the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Rivers State Chapter paid him a courtesy visit.
He informed that they were engaged in that war of eradicating illiteracy, joblessness, hate, gender discrimination, stereotypes among others, and assured that if fought successfully, the war on insecurity would have reduced by 90%
He described the gap between the rich and poor as a ticking time bomb waiting to explode adding that the present needs of the people was to have a governor that will provide enabling environment for all to have better lives and live happily.
Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs who stressed the need to rebuild Rivers State and awaken her greatness and glory, maintained that it was time to look inward and pick the best to work for the rest of Rivers people and enjoined all to vote a candidate that has the capability and competence to transform Rivers State to haven for all.
He stated that the revenues of Rivers State are trapped in the underdevelopment of Andoni, and promised to transform it to a center of attraction and revenue generation if elected as the Governor of Rivers State.
He expressed happiness that the electoral law as signed by President Buhari has given the people the power to choose who governs them come 2023 and asked the electorates who according to him form 95% percent of the population to use their Permanent Voters Cards (PVCs) wisely by voting for those that would pull them out of poverty instead of political parties.
Earlier, the Chairperson of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ),Rivers State Chapter Susan Serekara-Nwikhana told Chief Dumo Lulu Briggs that the reason for the courtesy visit was to appeal for his partnership in the development of girl child projects.
