The people of Ahoada-West Local Government Area have declared total support for the re-election of Governor Nyesom Wike in March 6, 2019 governorship polls.
In a statement by the Chairman Media/Communication Committee for the Governor Wike’s campaign in the area, Mr. Madu Dab Madueke said the people of Ahoada-West Local Government Area curiously await the campaign train of the governor on Thursday, January 24, 2019 to the area.
Mr. Madueke revealed, it is just a conventional requirement for the governor to campaign, otherwise the numerous projects that dot the landscape of Rivers State are already eloquent testimonies for the Governor’s re-election.
The people of Ahoada-West are waiting for the Governor’s Campaign entourage to our area. We await a man with superlative performance, a man who not only gave Rivers people purposeful leadership, but also care and succour.
He mentioned projects ranging from infrastructure, judiciary, education, health, employment sensation, security among others.
According to the publicity team, the Governor returned Rivers State capital to its Garden City status, enjoining everyone to support the establishment of the Neighbourhood Watch to enhance internal security.
Mr. Madueke called on the people of Ahoada-West to turn out enmass and welcome Governor Wike who by Divine Providence is also thier son-inlaw.
He assured the Governor of the total support and commitment of the people of Ahoada-West to his re-election.
He also thanked the Governor for approving the establishment of a campus of the Rivers State University in Ekpeyeland among several projects.
“Recently the governor flagged off the construction of several projects in Odioka Community in Ahoada-West and we the people of Ahoada-West will reciprocate this gesture by returning him to the Brick House this year to continue the good works”.
