Nigerian Must Vote Out Buhari, Gov Wike Insists

Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has declared that despite the postponement of elections masterminded by the failed APC Federal Government, Nigerians are determined to vote out President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking during a Special Anointing Service at the Living Faith Kaduna Street, D-Line Port Harcourt on Sunday, Governor Wike said the postponement  should re-energise Nigerians to use their votes to insist that Nigeria must be better.

He said: “I am not speaking to you because I am a governor. I am speaking because I am a member of an organisation, “Nigeria Must be Better”.

“The situation we find ourselves today is not what we bargained for. We have to move ahead so that Nigeria Must be Better. You know what to do next Saturday “.

Governor Wike regretted that there were people who think they can play on the intelligence of Nigerians by shifting elections unnecessarily.

He thanked Nigerians for refusing to be provoked by the last minute postponement of elections.

He said: “What happened yesterday should re-energise you to still believe in the principle  that Nigeria Must be Better. If yesterday, you said let me just do it, this week come with all your energy and truly Nigeria Must be Better “.

The governor urged Nigerians to opt for development, freedom and abhor dictatorship when they vote on February 23, 2019. He said that the present must be thrown out.

Governor Wike said the message to Nigerians on the way forward is clear. He noted that Nigerians have spoken that they want to dump the failed Buhari era and revive development.

The Pastor of  Living Faith Church, in Rivers State, Pastor Isaac Folaji and other clerics prayed for the peace of the country and her development.

Pastor Folaji conducted an anointing service for the growth and protection of individuals and for the development of Rivers State.
