Ohaneze Ndigbo, Onelga Chapter Charges Youths On Non-Violence
Ahead of 2019 general elections, youths have been urged not to be used by desperate politicians to cause violence.
The Chairman of Ohaneze Ndigbo Onelga Chapter, Mr. Ugochukwu Chukwu gave the advice at the sideline of an event in Omoku. He warmed the youths to shun all forms of electoral violence in order to move the state forward. He also commended the security outfit, OSPAC, youths, and all stakeholders for their efforts in ensuring that peace return to Omoku and Onelga at large.
Chukwu further stated that what affects Omoku people effected non indigenes as well, but pointed out that business strives better in an environment devoid of rancour and lawlessness. He prayed that the prevailing peace in the area will be sustained
The Ohaneze branch Chairman also heaped praises on Governor Wike and Felix Obuah, describing them as God-sent to deliver and direct River state.
On Obuah, he said every Rivers man should emulate his philanthropic gestures but took a swipe on President Muhammad Buhari whom he described as, “travelling president. He is a man who does not know what the people want”, he said.
Chukwu extolled the virtues of Bro Felix Obuah, whom he said has love for his people, advising other politicians in Onelga to emulate him.
