The Federal College of Education (Technical), Omoku Rivers State in affiliation with University of Nigeria, Nsukka will re-open for academic activities on Friday 9h November, 2018 for the 2018/2019 academic year.
The Registrar of the College, Dr. Liverpool Onyije in a statement signed by the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the institution, Prince Charles Amadike-Otoboh JP after an emergency Academic Board Meeting of the College held on Wednesday 24th October, 2018 stated that the resumption is for all returning and new students in the Degree, Pre-NCE, PDE and Part Time programmes.
According to the statement, lectures for all returning and new students will commence immediately on Monday 12th November, 2018 except those on Teaching Practice and Industrial Training.
Students are however encouraged to pay their school fees before commencement of lectures as CLASS ADMIT CARDS will be enforced for entry into Lecture Halls, Practical Classes, Submission of Assignments, Tests among others.
The Provost of the College, Dr. Emmanuel Ikenyirihas therefore on behalf of the Governing Council, Management and Academic Board of the institution welcomes both staff and students to a new session and wishes them a successful Academic year.
Meanwhile, Admission Forms into the College Degree, PDE, Full time NCE and Part Time NCE programmes are still on sale and advised interested applicants to visit the College Website or contact the College Admission Unit for more clarifications.
